BUS LEAVES: I will be driving a school van to the meet. We will meet at the high school at 7am.

BUS RETURNS: I would like to be home by 8pm. we will call from our cell phones during the meet to keep parents updated.

COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP MEET

The bus for the County Championship Meet at Campbell-Savona will be leaving after team pictures. The meet begins at 5pm. The following athletes have qualified for the meet:

TEAM PICTURE REMINDER

We will have our team picture taken on Friday May 22nd. The picture will be taken at 3pm. If your season is over, you will be handing in your uniform after the picture.

TEAM PICTURES

Our team picture has been rescheduled for Friday May 22nd. We will take the picture before we head over the hill for the county Championship Meet. All athletes not participating in the meet will turn their uniforms in after the photo.

NEXT WEEK IN TRACK

MONDAY: On Monday we will attempt to get a bus--and head over to Campbell-Savona for practice.

TUESDAY: Tuesday is our Division I Meet at Campbell-Savona. The meet begins at 4pm. I can enter up to four athletes in each event. You will find out today at practice waht events you are in.

FRIDAY: On Friday we will be heading the the SCL Championship Meet at Campbell-Savona. The meet begins at 5pm. To qualify for this meet you must place in the 'top 6' overall at the Division I Meet on Tuesday.

WELLSVILLE SPRING DAY INVITATIONAL

We WILL NOT be going to the Wellsville Meet this weekend.

HALF DAY

Tuesday, May 12 is a half day for students. Our bus for Canisteo-Greenwood will leave at 3pm. We should be home by 8pm. we will not be stopping to eat, so bring a snack.

ADDISON RACE FEST

Addison Race Fest was a big success this year. I think the race committee did a fantastic job. The track team brought home plenty of 'hardware' from the race. It was fun to see so much participation by our team. Good job everyone!

Tuesday we will be at Campbell-Savona. As far as I know, we will be the only other team there. It will feel like 56 degrees with a 50% chance of rain. Your evening will be much more enjoyable if you dress appropriately.

APRIL 28 (TUESDAY)...AT AVOCA

Back to Avoca we go. As far as I know it will just be Addison vs Avoca--that means a quick meet. Lets plan on stoping for dinner on the way home. Bring cornbread. This race may get rained out. We are looking at a chance of t-storms tomorrow afternoon.

APRIL 30 (THURSDAY)...AT ARKPORT

Should be another quick meet--if we are the only two teams present. We will not be stopping to eat on the way home. Please bring a snack. You WILL be hungry.

MAY 2 (SATURDAY)...ADDISON RACE FEST

I hope to see maximun participation from our track athletes at this event. I did not schedule a meet this weekend so we could show our support of our hometown. Run or canoe or cheer or volunteer. I want to see you there!

BATAVIA PENTATHLON MEET: Anyone interested in doing a pentathlon or a steeplechase will be going with Mr. Lyons to this meet. Van leaves at 7:15am.

HELLO AMERICANS! There will be no practice on Monday March 23rd. This week we will begin to focus more on our individual events. Plan on working on a variety of different drills for your specific events. I hope all of you feel that you are beginning to get into decent shape.
